I am a "Black" man born and raised in the U.S. and grew up in California. I happened on this video and found that I was relating to a lot of the discussion. I work in Social Services in a building where Muslim men & women come for immigration services & sometimes they avoid me or even my Black female coworkers on the elevator and in the hallway. It hurts, but we want to break the stereotypes against us & also what is said to us about Muslims. I appreciated this discussion and will tune in for more. We, so called African Americans are beautiful, loving people who live in a society designed to destroy us. There's negative people in every culture so again, thanks for having this discussion. What I have learned about women is questioning her emotions, which for her is a painful struggle for her to sharing her mate. I feel and understand the pain, it's like for a man if the wife were to have a secret affair. Education for both men and women is a must, the spiritual aspect is lost or misunderstood by both, why would Allah permit this at that time? They say in 2019 how can I still be holding on to something from the past but the sisters are dressed and following a system from over 1500 years ago. Why do blacks follow a religion that came sooooo long after the true African religion and culture. In that particular case I would have to throw the baby out with the bathwater because I wouldn't worship anything or be part of any organized religion clearly makes a distinction between black and white and I've been to many Arab countries and I never see their blacks on the same level as the light complected Arabs as a matter of fact Arabs despise black people or people who are dark skin. And this woman saying that she never experienced is very telling because there are women in America or a black woman and man who say they never experienced racism as well. Plausible denial

Just came across this, you folks are not making it easier on polygamous couple with your line of debate. At no stage did you talk about children. A women getting a divorce if her husband wants a second wife will be on the streets and will quite likely lose her kids. Alternatively, your arguments suggest a man rather have a girlfriend rather than a wife??!! What the f*** is wrong with you tea-gulping sisters....? Fear Allah. Very pleasing

After more than nine years, I felt I am understood for the first time. Thank you so much. I am first wife who was put into this position 9 years ago, one month into my third child, being away from my country, any of my relatives and friends, I had no one but Allah... I struggled for many years all by myself... My husband has been patient with me during all these ups and downs of our marriage to the best of his ability... But the damage was done and it was sooo hard to heal... I still can't say I am healed... My deepest wound during all of these are my children... They were neglected emotionally while I was trying to heal myself and my husband wasn't ever available emotionally for my children... That's something hurts me sooo much and blame myself for not being able to give them emotional support that they needed... Now everything seems like back to normal but we , as a couple, never are same again. At least that's how I feel.
